As we were growing up, Rex Navarette was the first Filipino American comedian that we saw on a big stage. He always hit a funny bone because he touched on all aspects of Filipino culture. A friend recently posted on Twitter, "Did you give Rex Navarette his flowers before you thought Jo Koy was funny." It's 2021 and we still find Rex's standup "Hella Pinoy" a classic.
